The suspects reportedly entered Kathmandu in mid-August before crossing into Bihar during the third week of August. Intelligence agencies fear they may be planning a terror strike in the state.
Security has been beefed up in all border districts including East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Araria, Kishanganj, and Supaul. Additional vigilance is being maintained in sensitive zones such as Bhagalpur and Patna.
With the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, the situation is being treated with utmost seriousness. Police, SSB, and central intelligence agencies are working in coordination to track down the infiltrators.
