Howrah’s Salap Bazar Witnesses Grand Celebration of Chhath Puja with Devotion and Harmony

Howrah, West Bengal: Chhath Puja was grandly celebrated with devotion and reverence in Salap Bazar, Howrah, organized by Shri Shri Ganesh Puja Committee. Thousands of devotees gathered at Katliya pond ghat, where milk, biscuits, and essential medical supplies were distributed. The event underscored the festival’s rich Vedic heritage, cultural significance, and the spirit of community harmony and spiritual reflection. On the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja , the sacred festival dedicated to the worship of Lord Surya, Shri Shri Ganesh Puja Committee organized a grand event this year as well in Salap Bazar, Howrah. The Chhath Puja, held at the Katliya pond ghat, saw thousands of devotees gathering from evening onwards. The committee distributed milk, biscuits, and essential medical supplies to the devotees free of cost.
