New Delhi  – In a significant boost to  infrastructure and pilgrimage tourism , the  Union Cabinet  has approved the ambitious  ₹4,081 crore Kedarnath Ropeway Project , which will drastically reduce the travel time for devotees visiting the sacred Kedarnath shrine . The project aims to enhance accessibility and provide a  safer, faster, and more convenient  journey for thousands of pilgrims every year. 🚡 Ropeway to Cut Travel Time from 8-9 Hours to Just 36 Minutes Currently, pilgrims undertake a  16 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath , which takes approximately  8 to 9 hours . With the new ropeway in place, this arduous journey will be  shortened to just 36 minutes , making it a game-changer for devotees, elderly travelers, and those facing mobility challenges. ISRO has successfully carried out the launch of Gaganyaan-1, the first uncrewed test flight Satish Dhawan Space Centre, India :  The Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) has achieved another historic milestone with the successful launch of Gaganyaan-1 , the first uncrewed test flight under India’s ambitious human spaceflight program. The launch took place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota , with the Gaganyaan spacecraft entering an orbit of 170 x 408 km. This mission is a crucial step in India’s efforts to send humans into space for the first time, aiming for a crewed mission in the near future.
