  Delhi News:  On the occasion of World Water Day 2026, a large-scale cleanliness drive was organised at the ITO Yamuna Ghat in Delhi by the Sanskriti Youth Foundation . The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from young volunteers who came together to restore the polluted stretch of the Yamuna riverbank. The campaign focused on removing heaps of garbage and plastic waste scattered across the Chhath Ghat, highlighting the urgent need for sustained environmental action. Volunteers actively collected and segregated waste, spreading awareness among local residents and passersby about river conservation and responsible waste disposal. The drive not only improved the cleanliness of the ghat area but also served as a reminder of the collective responsibility towards protecting natural water bodies like the Yamuna, which remains under severe environmental stress. In reality this should be celerated as a milestone of growth but instead before she even learns the biological origin of this whole process and the reason  why she must bleed every month  , she is handed a heavy shroud of shame.
