Jharkhand Worker Killed at Bihar Brick Kiln; Co-worker Arrested for Murder | Ranchi News
Chanho/Ranchi: A 35-year-old migrant labourer from Jharkhand’s Chanho area was allegedly murdered with a sharp-edged tool at a brick kiln in Bihar’s Bhojpur district. Police have arrested the accused, who was reportedly the victim’s co-worker and fellow villager. The deceased, identified as Shivnath Munda , was a resident of Barhe village under Chanho police station limits. According to officials, the accused Ranjit Lohra , also from Barhe village, worked alongside Shivnath at the same brick kiln. Police said Shivnath and Ranjit had travelled in January 2025 with several others from their village to work at a brick kiln located in Tetardih village under Hasan Bazar police station area of Bhojpur district. On the night of April 21 , an argument reportedly broke out between the two men while they were having food and drinks at the kiln premises.
